Villa Della Torre
Villa Della Torre is a prestigious project born from the love of the Allegrini family for the Veneto territory. Among the most important Italian producers, in addition to the winery in Valpolicella, the San Polo estate in Montalcino, and Poggio al Tesoro in Bolgheri, Allegrini acquired Villa Della Torre in 2008. Marlisa Allegrini fell in love with this wonderful Renaissance villa, built between 1440 and 1562 by masters Giulio Romano and Michele Sanmicheli in the style of an ancient Domus Romana, and decided to transform it not only into a winery but also into a venue for cultural projects and events. Today, the management is in the hands of her daughters Carlotta and Caterina, who take care of all the initiatives.
The residence was built at the initiative of Giulio della Torre, a humanist and cultured man, who wanted to give shape to the desire to create a place of inner peace, along with a vast estate. Embracing this spirit, Marlisa Allegrini wanted to restore the historic building to its former glory while simultaneously renovating the vineyards to produce wine in the
